  • Description Meet one-on-one with a trainer at your home, in the community, or virtually. text goes here

  • This is best for owners who would like additional support in between private lessons. Dogs will either receive one-on-one training in your home while you are at work, or will be picked up for a training outing and returned afterward. The training during day camp will be specific to where each dog is at with private lessons and what the owner and trainer think would benefit them most to work on.

  • This is for puppies 8 weeks and older who need help with house manners, crate training, potty training, and foundational training skills. Puppies will learn not to bite, not to jump up, how to walk on leash, how to recall to their name, sit, down, and drop-it. Puppies will have one-on-one training time, have daily socialization, and have good-experience outings.

  • This is for dogs with dog or human reactivity, resource guarding, anxiety or fear, or other problem behaviors that beginning obedience doesn't cover. Dogs will have daily lessons and/or outings that directly address the behaviors needing to be modified and will learn alternate preferred behaviors in place of the unwanted behavior. Owners will be instructed on how to add at-home structure and management to best support the dog and mitigate unwanted behaviors.

  • This is for puppies or dogs who are already potty trained, but need help instilling beginning obedience. Dogs in this program will learn sit, down, stay, place, loose leash walk, heel, public manners, and off-leash recall. Dogs will also receive obedience focused socialization and outings to increase reliability and desensitize environmental stimuli.

  • This is the best option for dogs who have already had beginning obedience training, or have already done a board and train with Bright Star K9. Dogs in this program will learn brewery/coffee shop manners, public off leash obedience, and will have more advanced desensitization to environmental stimuli. Dogs may also have experiences at the novice level in sports such as dock diving, agility, rally obedience, and more.
